Calling hours to be held for Wyoming County soldier killed in Texas

A Wyoming County soldier who was shot and killed in Texas, will be laid to rest this week.
Austin Sampson, 25, from Bliss, New York was shot outside a convenience store in Killeen, Texas on January 3rd. He later died from his injuries.
Calling hours will be held for Specialist Sampson on Wednesday at Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home in Warsaw, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Sampson will be laid to rest on Friday at 1 p.m. He will be buried with military honors at Lyonsburg Cemetery in Bliss.
Specialist Sampson served two tours of duty overseas.
Police have charged a Texas man with his death.
