Rochester man sentenced for bail jumping

A man who never showed for his federal prison sentence will now spend another year and a half in prison because of it.

Tryn Parker of Rochester was sentenced to two and a half years in prison in 2010 for conspiring to commit bank fraud. Parker was released on bail on the condition that he report for his sentence and instead, fled to Alabama where he was eventually re-arrested.

On Wednesday, a federal judge sentenced Parker to an additional year and a half for bail jumping.

Parker will serve that sentence along with the original two and a half year sentence.
