Senator Charles Schumer says eBay and Craigslist have agreed to stop scalpers from selling tickets to President Obama’s inauguration next week.
Senator Schumer is in charge of the President's swearing-in ceremony on Monday and has been trying to get scalpers to stop selling the tickets. It is not illegal to sell them but the tickets that people get from members of Congress are supposed to be free.
The ones for sale online were listed for up $2,000 each.
