Man sentenced for robbing, kidnapping church secretary

The man who robbed and kidnapped a church secretary in Irondequoit was sentenced Tuesday afternoon.

Anthony Cannella will spend the next 15 years in state prison plus five years post-release supervision. Cannella previously admitted he robbed the woman at knife-point, then drove her around to several locations including a bank in Greece to get more money.

According to the judge, Cannella has had 39 prior arrests.
