A East Rochester man has been arrested and charged with breaking into a pizzeria in the town of Perinton.
Jonathon Enriquez, 27, of East Rochester, is charged with burglary, criminal mischief, possession of burglar tools and petit larceny.
On January 19 around 3:40a.m., a sheriff's deputy was patrolling the area of Whitney and Baird Roads when he says he saw Enriquez entering the front door of Headliner's Pizza on Whitney Road. The sheriff's deputy said Enriquez had smashed the window with a hammer and exited the pizzeria carrying a duffel bag that contained a cash register drawer, a hammer and a knife. The sheriff's deputy was able to arrest Enriquez at the scene.
Enriquez confessed to the burglary along with admissions to other crimes.
Enriquez was remanded to the Monroe County Jail in lieu of $7,000 cash bail or $14,000 bond.
