Local school athletes to raise money for Golisano Children's Hospital

Gates-Chili basketball teams will take part in the "Hoops for the Hospital" program Friday, which raises money for Golisano Children's Hospital.

The boy's basketball teams will compete against teams from Churchville-Chili.

Last month, the Gates Chili Central School District held the Coaches vs. Cancer games and raised more than $1400 for the American Cancer Society.

The event kicks off with the freshman players at 4:15 p.m.
