A Syracuse man has been sentenced to two years in prison for injuring his two young nephews by putting bleach in their milk after having an argument with their father.
The Post-Standard of Syracuse reports (http://bit.ly/VnIy9t) that 21-year-old Aaron Hickman was sentenced Friday in state Supreme Court. He had pleaded guilty earlier this month to felony assault charges.
Hickman was living with his brother's family when he got into an argument with his sibling last May. After the brother told him he had to leave, Hickman poured bleach into a bottle of milk in the refrigerator.
The boys, ages 1 and 3, drank the tainted milk the following morning. They were treated at a Syracuse hospital.
