Kodak wants more time for bankruptcy plan

Kodak says it needs more time to submit its plan to emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The company filed a request Monday morning to extend the deadline from February 15 to April 30.

The documents also said Kodak will complete its patent sale around February 1.

The $525 million package will go toward paying off creditors. Kodak still expects to emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy sometime mid-year.
