News10NBC is tracking an apartment complex proposal that has stirred up controversy in Pittsford.
On Monday night, at the joint planning and zoning board meeting, there was supposed to review up to date plans for the controversial apartment complex planned for 75 Monroe Avenue.
However, the up-to-date plans never made it to the board, so instead they listened to public comments about it. A citizen's group, "Friends of Pittsford" is suing the village over the board of trustees' decision to approved the project saying it does not meet "Charm and Historic Integrity" codes.
A court date to look at that approval is set for February 14.
