Rochester woman arrested for promoting prison contraband

nullA 20-year-old woman from Rochester was arrested after police say she tried to smuggle drugs into Wyoming Correctional Facility in Attica.

Investigators say Anika Graham hid synthetic marijuana inside a food package and sent it to an inmate in the facility.

They say the hidden drugs were discovered and Graham was arrested during an inmate visitation.

Graham is charged with a misdemeanor of promoting prison contraband.

She was arraigned and sent to the Wyoming County Jail on $1000 bail.
