Officer-involved shooting on State Street

An eviction takes a violent turn leaving one man shot and four officers injured.

Investigators say court marshals were trying to evict a man from the VOA Housing facility on State Street when an altercation took place. An officer then fired multiple shots, injuring the man.

Rochester Police say one of the things the tenant did was throw bleach in the face of the officers. Four officers were taken to the hospital and released.

The man who was shot has non-life threatening injuries.
