Bomb threat at Days Inn in Geneva

Ontario County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a bomb threat at a Days Inn motel in Geneva.

Staff and guests had to evacuate the building after a man called in around 3:30 Wednesday afternoon and threatened the desk clerk, telling her there was an explosive device hooked up to the building.

Everyone was evacuated safely and the building was searched by bomb sniffing dogs.

Investigators say they found no evidence of any explosive devices or weapons both inside and outside the motel.

The incident is still being investigated.
