Wayne County man arrested on child pornography charges

nullA Wayne County man was arrested following a three month child pornography investigation.

Carl Bruns, 63, is facing 12 felony charges related to child pornography.

Troopers say they started the investigation in the town of Williamson back in November and arrested Bruns this week.

According to investigators, Bruns was sharing files on his computer that showed child pornography.

Police are still investigating who may have been sending or receiving those files with Bruns.

Bruns was sent to the Wayne County Jail.
