East Rochester man facing weapons charges

A 35-year-old East Rochester man has been arrested by Rochester Police on weapons charges.

Investigators tell News10NBC city police officers were attempting to locate Andrew Mccants due to numerous outstanding warrants. When police located Mccants, officers say they found a shotgun and several clear bags of suspected crack-cocaine.

Mccants was taken into custody and charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
