News10NBC has learned that Rochester Mayor Tom Richards wants another term in office. He announced at a news conference Wednesday morning that he plans to run for mayor in November. If he is elected, this will be his first full term in office.
Richards was elected in a special election after Bob Duffy left to become lieutenant governor.
Last month, City Council President Lovely Warren says she is considering a run for the Mayor’s office.
