Local bar holds fundraiser for West Webster Fire Department

Valentines day is supposed to be about showing love to the people you care about and that spirit was in the air at Prepps on Sunday.

The bar on Monroe Avenue held a fundraiser to show love and support for the West Webster Fire Department.

There was food, drinks and live music throughout the day Sunday.

Organizers say they are thankful for everyone who came out to the bar to show their support.

“We have nurses, teachers, home owners, small business owners, anyone in the community who wanted to participate is here enjoying a couple of drinks and having a good time,” said event organizer Claire Pullano.

The fundraiser began around 12 p.m. Sunday and wrapped up at 6 p.m.
