Congressman Chris Collins talks about small businesses

Does it seem like small businesses in your community close down not long after their grand opening.

Congressman Chris Collins, who represents Genesee, Livingston and parts of Monroe and Ontario counties, was in Victor to talk about the burdens small business owners face. He says Washington has imposed too many fees and taxes. He is letting people know there is a website that breaks down the impact of each regulation that anyone could understand. The website also allows you to share your opinions.

Collins says the burdens on small businesses are preventing them from hiring more people and jump starting the economy.
