Residents in West Irondequoit will have a chance to vote on changes in the school district's finances.
The West Irondequoit School District is proposing to dissolve a multi-million dollar reserve fund and use that money for other things in the district.
The reserve fund was set up in 1988 to help pay for property damage or liability claims in the school district and dissolving the fund would free up $3.5-million to increase the school budget.
Residents can vote from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the district office on List Avenue.
