Two local pawn shop employees arrested. Police say the men were knowingly buying and selling stolen items at their stores.
23-year-old Michael Dionese, of Henrietta, worked at King Exchange on East Ridge in Irondequoit. 23-year-old Michael Sheffer, who lives at the same address as Dionese, worked at Mega Pawn on West Henrietta Road in Brighton.
Police say they frequently bought stolen items and sold them in their stores and online. Both were arraigned in the Town of Irondequoit court and released on $5,000 bail.
Police also arrested 37-year-old Lajuane Green, of Rochester, for two counts of criminal possession of stolen property. Green was arraigned in Town of Irondequoit Court and remanded to the Monroe County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash/$10,000 bail.
The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests and charges are pending.
