It's a day to appreciate your significant other, friends and family and there are several ways you can spend the day in the Rochester area.
If you haven't got someone to spend Valentines Day with, how about adopting a dog or cat?
Lollypop Farm and Rochester Animal services are holding an "Adopt Me Maybe?" event on Thursday. All pets may be adopted for only $14.
You can also support students in Victor, who will be skating to raise money for the American Heart Association. The Intermediate School will hold the "Skate for Heart" fundraiser in the gym, located on High Street. Last year, they raised nearly $400,000 for the research of heart disease.
If you get hungry throughout the day, Pellegrino's Deli-Cafe on Mt. Hope Avenue and Linden Avenue is offering a "buy one, get one free" deal on any sub, wrap or salad -- if you smooch a family member, loved one, friend or anyone waiting in line.
