nullIt's a course designed to keep employees safe while they're at work.

The Rochester Business Alliance will present a homeland security workplace violence training seminar from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It will be taught at the Public Safety Training Facility on Scottsville Road.

The registration fee for RBA members is $99 and $150 for future RBA members.

Homeland Security statistics say workplace violence is the leading cause of job related deaths in the U.S. It costs businesses more than $36 billion a year.

The course will be taught by MCC's Homeland Security Management Program Coordinator Guy Rossi, who is retired from the Rochester Police Department.
