Deputies ID man killed in Genesee County crash

A 25-year-old Genesee County man was killed in a crash around 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputies say Timothy Beszczynski of Darien was eastbound on Route 238 in the Town of Darien when he collided head-on with a westbound vehicle driven by a 59-year-old Wyoming County woman.

Both had to be extricated from their vehicles. Beszczynski was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was taken to Erie County Medical Center with a broken leg and other injures.

Deputies say the cause of the crash in unknown at this time.
