Two Rochester men charged with burglary

A concerned citizen, checking in on a relative’s North Goodman Street home while he was away, called 911 after he saw the lights on and a man with a backpack standing in the driveway. It happened around 9 p.m. Tuesday.

When officers arrived at the home, they were able to detain one suspect – 18-year-old Jayson Sanchez – who police say was in possession of an Xbox 360 and several video games. A second suspect, 18-year-old Luis Rivera, was located by police a few streets away and arrested.

Both men are charged with burglary, criminal mischief and petit larceny.
