Family of four escapes house fire in Irondequoit

A fire in Irondequoit has left a family without a home.

Firefighters were called to Dewey Avenue off St. Paul Boulevard around 10:40 p.m. Wednesday. News10NBC is told the family of four – two adults and two teenagers – were able to get out safely.

The house has significant smoke damage.
