Man charged with burglary in Penfield

A Rochester man has been charged with burglary after an incident in Penfield.

Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to Don Scott Auto on Atlantic Avenue for a burglar alarm around 11 p.m. Wednesday. Deputies say when they arrived, Mark Peters was walking out the front of the building. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with burglary and criminal mischief.

Peters was arraigned and remanded to the Monroe County Jail without bail.
