A former aide at a Brighton nursing facility convicted of raping a comatose woman in the mid-90's will be released from prison on March 4.
At a hearing in January, Judge Joanne Winslow determined John Horace to be a level 2 sex offender when he's released. The highest level is three.
John Horace was found guilty of raping a woman named "Kathy" at the facility. She was 29-years-old and in a chronic vegetative state after a car crash. He claims he artificially inseminated her because he believed it would help bring her out of the coma.
Horace has served two thirds of an 8 1/3 to 25 year sentence.
Horace will have to check in with police and give his address every 90 days. He was be on parole until July 4, 2021.
