Teen drug, alcohol use: 25% admit to smoking pot, 35% to drinking

New research reveals 25-percent of tenth graders have smoked pot. The data come from the National Institute on Drug Abuse which surveyed more than 2,500 tenth grade students.
Thirty-five percent of the teens said they drank alcohol during the past 12 months and 19-percent had smoked cigarettes.
Researchers say teens who used multiple substances had higher rates of physical ailments, depression, anxiety and sleep problems.
