Video games to help train young doctors?

Are these kids wasting time playing video games or honing their skills as future surgeons?
 
Italian researchers say that after a four-week training regimen on the Nintendo Wii, post-graduate residents had better laparoscopic surgery skills than residents who did not participate in the Wii games.
 
Experts say this might be a helpful and entertaining way to help train young doctors.
