How much do you weigh and what is your body fat percentage? That’s what CVS Caremark is asking its employees.
CVS says employees who use company health insurance must have a doctor determine their weight, height, body fat, blood pressure, glucose and fasting lipid levels by May 1 or pay a higher premium for health insurance. The penalty for not reporting these numbers is $600 a year.
CVS says this is to help workers engage more actively to improve their health and manage health-associated costs.
