Police: Wayne Co. mother, high on drugs, drove with 6-year-old child in car

A Wayne County mother is accused of driving with her six-year-old child in the car while she was high on drugs.
Macedon Police say 27-year-old Erin Homer of Palmyra was involved in a crash on Route 350 in Macedon. News10NBC is told she went off the road, hit the railroad tracks and then hit a tree head on.
After an investigation, police say Homer had been driving under the influence of drugs. She is charged with felony DWI from a 2009 conviction and aggravated DWI for having a child in the car as well as several traffic violations.
Homer is due in court on March 27 to answer to the charges.
