The College at Brockport is taking a stand against domestic violence. Organizers say the college’s annual Clothesline Project will give the Brockport community an opportunity to voice its opposition to violence against women.
The Seymour College Union will be filled with custom t-shirts that have been created over the years by women who have been affected by violence or by those who are showing their support for these victims.
The Clothesline Project takes place from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. on March 25 and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on March 26.
Organizers say this year’s Clothesline Project is dedicated to the memory of Alexandra Kogut, a freshman who was killed in September 2012. Clayton Whittemore is charged in connection with her death.
