A 32-year-old woman has been arrested following a traffic stop on Route 96 in the Town of Waterloo.
Sheriff’s Deputies in Seneca County say a deputy had Lorraine Curry of Waterloo pulled over on the side of the road when Curry became aggravated and took off while the deputy was still standing beside her car. Investigators say Curry then refused to pull over but was eventually stopped on Edwards Road in Waterloo by state troopers and sheriff’s deputies.
Curry is charged with unlawfully fleeing a police officer, speed over 55 miles per hour, speeding in a speed zone, failure to keep right and unsafe start from a stopped position. She will answer to the charges on April 25.
