Rochester man charged with attempted endangering the welfare of a child

A 27-year-old Rochester man is facing charges after State Police say made plans to meet up with a 12-year-old girl for the purpose of engaging in sexual contact.
Jason Frank is charged with attempted dissemination of indecent material to a minor and attempted endangering the welfare of a child.
Police say they arrested Frank after he arrived a predetermined location in the Syracuse area where he made plans to meet a girl who he believed was 12.
Frank was arraigned and remanded to the Albany County Jail without bail. Police say additional charges in North Syracuse and Rochester are pending and the investigation is ongoing.
Police are asking any minors that may have been approached or know anything more about Frank, to call State Police at 315-455-2826.
