News10NBC has won the Edward R. Murrow Award for best breaking news coverage. The Radio-Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) released its list of winners of the regional 2013 Edward R. Murrow Award Thursday. News10NBC was named the Best Breaking News Coverage Winner for small market TV stations in region 11, comprising New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
News10NBC's entry for the award was our coverage of the Christmas Eve Tragedy where two West Webster firefighters were shot and killed while responding to a fire.
