Students in Shortsville to bring awareness to autism

Local elementary school students are trying to break a world record Monday to bring awareness to autism.

Students at Red Jacket Elementary School in Shortsville will blow bubbles for one minute in hopes of landing in the Guinness Book of World Records.

The event starts at 1:15 p.m. The school will also be selling puzzle shaped cookies to raise money for local autism services.

April is Autism Awareness Month.
