Police: Loaded shotgun, ammunition found inside vehicle stopped by officers

A loaded shotgun and lots of ammunition – that’s what Rochester Police say was found inside a vehicle stopped by police.

Investigators tell News10NBC officers responded to Birr Street Wednesday night to investigate a call for menacing. While officers were on the scene, they heard gunshots in the area.

Police say two officers spotted a suspicious vehicle, followed it to Augustine Street and saw three suspects run from the car.

The suspects – 18-year-old Kemari Hodrick, 17-year-old Barrington Price and 20-year-old Unique Dunbar – were later taken into custody. Police say a loaded shotgun and ammunition was found inside the vehicle.

All three suspects are charged with criminal possession of stolen property and possession of a firearm inside of a vehicle.
