Students compete in college scholarship competition

Hundreds of students and business leaders from across the nation were at Harris Beach in Pittsford for a college scholarship competition.

Forty one young entrepreneurs, some as young as 11, pitched their business plans in hopes of winning college scholarships ranging from $25,000 to $50,000.

The Young Entrepreneurs Academy, founded in Rochester, hosted the event. News10NBC's Rebecca Leclair was one of the judges.

Students also competed for the chance to pitch their business on a national reality TV show.
