A West Seneca teen suffered neck or back injuries after he fell into a gorge in Genesee County on Thursday evening.
Sheriff's deputies say 17-year-old Matthew Kwiatkowski fell into the water at around 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Deputies say he was hiking with three friends near Indian Falls in Pembroke.
News10NBC is told that Kwiatkowski was able to climb onto a ledge and it took two hours for a rope rescue team to pull him to safety. Kwiatkowski was taken to Erie County Medical Center by Mercy Flight.
His three friends were not hurt.
