Study: 70% of adults used a cell phone at least once while driving with their kids

Distracted driving is not just a problem for teens and young drivers. Researchers at the University of Michigan surveyed parents about 10 common distractions while driving including talking on the phone and texting.

More than seven out of 10 adults admit they used a cell phone at least once in the past month while driving with their kids. Other bad habits for parents behind the wheel include feeding their kids and eating, putting on make-up and setting up their GPS.
