Two Rochester men charged with robbery, grand larceny

Two men are facing grand larceny and weapons charges after two robberies in Rochester on Friday night.

Police tell News10NBC a pizza delivery driver was robbed around 11:45 p.m. on Grand Avenue. According to investigators, two suspects stole his cash and cell phone.
 
A short time later, police say the two suspects were involved with a second robbery near Parsells Avenue and Greeley Street – not far from the first robbery. Investigators say the suspects stole cash and smartphones from the victims.

Officers were able to locate two men matching the suspects’ descriptions and take them into custody.

Devin Haygood and Tovontay Haygood are charged with robbery, grand larceny and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police say the stolen cell phones and gun were recovered.
