He's served the Rochester Police Department for more than 25 years and on Tuesday, Investigator Otto Harnischfeger was honored for his service in the community.

He received the Henry H. Jensen Memorial Award at the 13th Annual Rochester Rotary Law Day Luncheon Tuesday.

For years, the investigator has served the city off the job, by dressing up as Santa and visiting hospitals, ringing the bell for The Salvation Army and even taking terminally ill children to Florida with Camp Good Days.

Otto is also the president of the Pirate Toy Fund Board of Directors.
