Two Rochester men facing charges in Perinton home invasion robbery

Two Rochester men are facing charges for a home invasion robbery that happened in Perinton Thursday night. Police are still looking for a third suspect.
Michael J. Corvelli, 24, and Roy J. Calentinez, 34, both of Rochester,are under arrest for burglary, robbery, grand larceny and other charges.
Sheriff's Deputies were called to Highview Manor Apartment on Alpine Knoll in Perinton Thursday night for the report of a home invasion robbery. Sheriff's Deputies say three men entered the apartment, assaulted the man inside with a weapon and ransacked the apartment, stealing multiple items including two rifles. Investigators say the victim was tied up and left inside the apartment.
On Friday morning, sheriff's deputies stopped Corvelli in his car and he was taken into custody. A female passenger was questioned and later released.
Calentinez was taken into custody after a brief standoff with sheriff's deputies and Rochester Police officers at his home on Lakeview Drive in Rochester (Click here for story on standoff). He was additionally charged with criminal possession of a firearm.
Corvelli was arraigned in Perinton Town Court and sent to the Monroe County Jail. Calentinez was transported to the hospital. He was released Saturday and is now being held in the Monroe County Jail.
Sheriff's deputies say the weapons used in the home invasion have not been found. They are still investigating and looking for the third suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
