Hundreds of participants are walking for 12 hours in the Relay for Life to help fight cancer.
Students, faculty and community members are walking all night at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
The event also features local bands, free food and games. There are also guest speakers, including cancer survivors and those currently battling cancer.
Organizers say by Friday they had already more than $17,000.
Relay for Life goes until 8 a.m. Sunday morning.
