A second jury selection begins Tuesday morning in the trial for a Fairport teacher's death. That jury will decide the verdict for Megan Merkel.
Merkel is charged with vehicular manslaughter and DWI along with Mark Scerbo. They will be tried at the same time but with different juries. Scerbo's jury was seated last week.
Investigators say he was riding a motorcycle last July when he hit Heather Boyum. She was riding her bicycle on Route 250 in Penfield. After Boyum was hit by the motorcycle, police say she was hit again by a car driven by Merkel.
