Ontario County Sheriff's investigating family dog shot in Honeoye

The Ontario County Sheriff's Office is asking for your help in regards to a family dog that was found shot in Honeoye.

Ontario County Sheriff's say Shasta, a white/tan female Siberian Husky, got loose from her home on Main Street Thursday evening. They say when she returned home Friday morning, she was bleeding from the face and front legs.

Officials say the dog's owner took her to to a veterinarian who found her injuries were caused by a shotgun. She was treated and is recovering.
