Ontario Co. woman accused of killing husband appears in court for pre-trial hearing

An affair, a disappointed wife, a husband who left a note saying "we need to talk". These are all pieces of evidence brought up in Ontario County court Thursday morning in the case against Rose Chase.
The Stanely woman is charged with murdering her husband by pushing him down the stairs and then dismembering his body and burning parts of it.
Adam Chase was reported missing last June by his family members who suspected foul play. His wife wasn't charged with murder until six months later.
At the evidence hearing this morning, details of Rose Chase's conversation with investigators where she said she wasn't satisfied with her marriage and had fought with Adam about affairs she had. Investigators found a note from Adam on the fridge that said, "we need to talk". News10NBC is told Chase said her husband left their house and she didn't know where he went but she eventually told police the whereabouts of his body.
Chase will go on trial October 7.
