An effort to bring the community, police and other officials together to talk about what's going on.

Project TIPS visited the Jefferson Avenue and Flint Street neighborhood Thursday. Groups of police officers, firefighters and volunteers met with neighbors to talk about the neighborhood and give them information that can help them. After that, there was a cookout.

Project TIPS began in August 2008. This is the third event so far this year.
