The LGBT community continues Pride Weekend celebrations Saturday in Rochester.
City officials joined local activists and community leaders in the Pride Parade. That parade took place on Park Avenue near Argyle Street and moved towards Alexander Street. The parade will then continue up Alexander Street to East Avenue, before going down Pitkin and Broad Streets and finally ending at Manhattan Square Park.
Participants in the parade included Mayor Tom Richards, Councilman Matt Haag along with officials from gay friendly businesses and organizations.
Festivities continued at Manhattan Square Park for the Pride Festival. Everything will wrap up on Sunday at Genesee Valley Park where a Pride Picnic will be held.
