Two people suffer minor injuries in three-car crash

Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash involving three cars and nine people on Route 104. It happened between Portland Avenue and Carter Street around 2 p.m.

Officials tell News10NBC one person was driving eastbound when the hood of their car popped open. They stopped suddenly and that caused a chain reaction, with two other cars colliding into the back of the car.

A total of nine people were in those cars. Of those people, we're told only two people were hurt and those injuries are not considered serious.

No word on whether or not any tickets will be issued.
