For the second time in two days firefighters were called to put out a fire burning inside a vacant building on Sherer Street.

Firefighters say the call came in just before 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon. When they got there firefighters found what they called rubbish and palettes burning inside.

Investigators are still trying to figure out what might have sparked the fire and they say they're keeping all possibilities open.

“When there's no utilities and it's a vacant building, it makes us take a good look at some other possible causes,” said Fire Chief George Peterson Jr., Rochester Fire Department.

Friday morning another abandoned warehouse caught fire. Firefighters say they've been called to that building several times to put out fires.
